The Financial Hardship Assistance (FHA) Program has employed a new staff member. We would like to warmly welcome our new Financial Hardship Assistance Advocate, Patricia Bigheart.
The Financial Hardship Assistance (FHA) fund is designed to assist enrolled Osage Nation tribal members, living on or off the reservation. You must be 18 years of age and over, have not received FHA within the past twelve (12) months nor have other eligible members of the same household. This program is fully funded by the Nation.
Requests for FHA are considered in conjunction with all other resources that may be available to the Osage individual or family including, but not limited to: private insurance, Medicaid, IHS, military support services, Red Cross, Osage Nation Health Benefit Card, Social Servies and other tribal support services, etc. All other resources must be pursued by the client and/or referred by the FHA Advocate.
FHA Funds are not intended for needs such as: legal fees, fines, restitution or luxury items (ex: cell phones, internet and cable bills).
It is the responsibility of each client to collect and provide all necessary documentation in order for the application to process in a timely manner for review and determination.
To make application or request further information on Financial Hardship Assistance, please contact Patricia Bigheart at 918-287-5327 or 888-822-1248, also via email firstname.lastname@example.org
or mail, P.O. Box 522, Hominy, Oklahoma 74035.
Thank you for allowing us to help you, our fellow Osages.
