ONSS to Participate in Northern California Meeting
March 20, 2013

Osage Nation Social Services Director Lee Collins will be presenting information on becoming a Resource Home for Osage children at the Northern California Osage Spring Meeting this Saturday, March 23, 2013, in Petaluma, California.  Social Services is partnering with representatives of other tribal departments to share available services, cultural and language activities, and Osage history with the Northern California Osage.

Representatives from the Cultural Center, Language, Education, Historic Preservation, NAGPRA, the Osage Museum, and Child Support departments will be presenting information on their respective programs.  Information on each of these departments will also be available in the adjoining tent, where tables will be set up, and department representatives will be available to answer questions.

ONSS Adoption and Indian Child Welfare Specialist Rebecca Fish will be available at the ONSS booth to answer any questions prospective resource families may have.  She will have resource home application packets, informational media and other beneficial items available to attendees.
