THE OSAGE NATION CHILDCARE OFFICES ARE CLOSED MONDAY, JULY 21, 2008 TO MAKE PREPARATIONS FOR THE ANNUAL FALL PROVIDER TRAINING AND WILL REOPEN @ 8AM TUESDAY MONRING. IF YOU HAVE A CHILD CARE PROGRAM EMERGENCY, PLEASE CALL (918) 287-8080 FOR THE ASSISTANT CHILD CARE DIRECTOR.
 
The 2008 Summer Swimming Lessons are FULL and do not have any spaces available for new applicants for the remainder of the summer. We apologize to those of you who were unable to attend and ask that you get your applications in early next year. Applications are usually available around the first or second week of May and classes begin the first week of June. Our only option left at this point is to accept  your application and place you on a waiting list for any possible cancellations. Please contact our office for details about this option @ (918) 287-5306. 
 
Osage Nation Child Care Mission Statement:  To assist Native American families in providing a safe, nurturing, loving and learning environment for their children, ages 0 through 12 years that live on the Osage Reservation.  To also assist parents with referrals, resources and classes that educate on meeing the needs of the family unit.
 
Welcome to the Osage Nation Child Care Program website.  The Osage Nation Child Care Program is here to assist Native American families with their child care needs.  We accomplish this in a variety of ways.  There is financial assistance for daycare.  We also provide a program that enables a family member to care for children.  A variety of training opportunities are made available to all members of the community.  These classes consist of  C.P.R., First Aid, Parenting Skills Classes, etc.
