STEEL GIRDER uprights are hoisted into place today as construction continues for the new Osage Casino—Ponca City just east of Ponca City. Located on U.S. 60 at City View Drive in the McCord area, the development will feature a 48-room, two-story hotel and up to 450 machines. A Las Vegas casino architectural firm, Marnell Companies, designed the project which is being overseen by management company Square One and constructed by Osage Manhattan Builders, according to information from the Osage Nation website, www.osagetribe.com. The 89,817 square foot project will include a multipurpose event center and the hotel will include a convenience store, lounge, fitness center, outdoor pool and spa.

MAJOR SEWER system improvements which will benefit McCord area residents and businesses and funded through the Osage Nation are under construction along U.S. 60 in conjunction with the tribe's development of the Osage Casino-Ponca City project.
